 What our Guests Say

"Where do we begin? It's been an absolutely brilliant holiday, in every way possible. The Old Rectory delighted and charmed us so! We leave here with heavy hearts and happy memories. Whether relaxing around the house and taking in the stunning views from such a lovely garden, or setting off to explore the gorgeous villages and countryside, we've all been incredibly excited to greet each day during this stay at The Old Rectory. We loved the boat journey up the River Avon. We had a great time chatting, relaxing, taking in the whole atmosphere of life on the river. There's a whole community on that river and we felt like we were a part of something special... we felt like that every day here. This part England is truly magnificent ...'God's Country', and staying at The Old Rectory is what defined our trip as extraordinary. Peter, Rosemary and their 3 lovely children were so incredibly warm, friendly, welcoming and hospitable. It is them as much as the beautiful surroundings that make us definitely want to return again to this gem of a place! Thank you!!"
